So, Marty:

You've chosen one of the better dancers, which means you're exceptionally smart. But, you've also bested my second choice which means you must have studied. And in studying, you must have learned that hip hop men can dance, so you would have chosen the better hip hop dancer, so I can clearly not choose the dancer I wanted.

But, you guessed wrong! That's what's so funny! My dancer was better while your back was turned. You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders of SYTYCD. The most famous is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But only slightly less well known is this: "Never vote for the shorter of the hip-hop dancers when the title is on the line." Ha-ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha! [picture me, dead...dead wrong, that is.]

Congrats, Marty! Did you have Joshua picked from the beginning?????

BTW, I'm still in shock that Katee wasn't at least in the final two! How did that happen?

I have watched the show SO much less this year. That annoying judge has pushed me over the edge with here screaming and Hot tamale train. Ugh!

And so it begins...

HIP-HOP: Katie Holmes & Twitch -- Good. I still don't love her, but I'm not sure why. She's good...there's just something about her.

Cat looks like she forgot lipstick/lip gloss. Her mouth looks dry.

SOLO: Katie Holmes -- She's good. And I liked her better after her interview. Her lips still bother me when she talks.

CONTEMPORARY (I mean, lyrical): Katee & Joshua -- I REALLY liked it!!! I was confused b/c I thought Wade was a hip-hop choreographer. Plus, I like them together. (Oh, according to Mandy Moore, it was lyrical, not contemporary. My bad.)

BROADWAY: Katie Holmes & Katee -- I didn't love the routine. Plus, I hate it when the girls don't wear shoes. It's not believeable that you would have that costume/dress on & not be wearing shoes. Anyway, of the two, I though Katee was better (the real Katee, not Katie Holmes.)

SOLO: Twitch -- I LOVE HIM! (But I hate that he does Comfort's arm movement.) I hope he wins.

RUSSIAN TREPAK (or something): Twitch & Joshua -- Holy crap. I'm tired from watching that. The main thing that stuck out to me was Joshua's straddle-jumps (is that what they're called?). He was higher in the air than he is tall! And when Twitch was doing the squatted down-kick outs (again, no idea what they're called) my knees ached for him.

SOLO: Katee -- Um, kinda boring. But she's so good, it won't matter. I think she'll end up 2nd (well, if not first...I take it back 'cause I want Twitch. As if you don't know that by now.)

FOXTROT: Katee & Twitch -- I LOVE THEM! And I love the Foxtrot (I know, too much time watching Dancing w/the Stars...). Anyway, these guys have to be final two.

Side note: I think Cat's got a thing for Twitch. They're very touchy/kissy when they're around each other...

SOLO: Joshua -- Really good. I thought it was too butt-kissy to dance by the judges, though, but whatever.

JIVE: Katie Holmes & Joshua -- I hated her boots (were her heels sticking out?). Plus, it seemed like she was always watching him out of her peripheral. Maybe I'm nit-picking b/c I don't love her, but it was just o.k. to me. And I usually love Jive.

CONTEMPORARY: Everybody -- I usually love any/everything Mia Michaels does but this was just o.k. to me. I expected to see routines like from last season when they danced to 'Sweet Dreams' by Mandy Moore (when they were in a pseudo-board meeting).

This finale was kind of junk compared to how good it could've been. Anyway, here's how I think the top 4 should go down:

Twitch (as if you didn't guess that)
Katee
Joshua
Katie Holmes

I am sad because this is the last show tonight. WHAY WHYA Don't forget you have to pick the winner for 3 points tonight...so all you who had your winner go home...now is your chance to steal some points.

Did you guys hear that Twitch & Joshua had to go to the hospital for dehydration & exhaustion during the prep for the finale? I hope they're o.k. for the finale! If not, it's a guarantee that Katee will take it! Otherwise, if they're good to go, we all know Twitch will win (fingers crossed!!!)

Okay people I am very confused, WHY...... I dont understand, they are voting off some of the best dancers.... Chelsie wasn't my pick to win it all until about the 3rd show. She is good, she is better than Courtney she could do it all! I loved the different stlye Mark had but he had promblems with HIP HIP so he couldn't do it all. I really can't guess who's gonna win.....

Does Courtney do the exact same solo every time? It seems like it.

What? A repeat!? If they're going to repeat something from last week, why not replay the performance show for crying out loud! Who wants to re-see the vote-off!?

Now to the dancing:

VIENNESE WALTZ (Katie Holmes & Mark) -- David Cook's song! Yay! They look really good together. The only thing w/her is, when she does her [dev-low-pays] (I did it that way b/c I don't know how to spell it), she hardly raises her leg at all -- and she doesn't point her toe. Other than that, I liked it! (Did Nigel really have to go there w/the A.I. plug!? hahaha)

SOLO (Chelsie) -- I say the same thing about ballroomers every week, so I won't bore you again...

SOLO (Twitch) -- I always love him; this week is no exception!!!!

CONTEMPORARY (Katee & Joshua) -- Yay, they're back together! And I loved it! (Even though I HATE Celine Dion.) That one lift when she stradle-jumped into the air & he caught her!? Are you kidding me?

MAMBO (Chelsie & Twitch) -- I know nothing about the Mambo, but it looked smooth. She was awesome and Twitch did well -- I just feel like he didn't have that much to do; like he was only there to hold her hand while she turned.

SOLO (Katee) -- Her solos are always good, I just never get super excited about them. I like her more when somebody else does the choreography (uh oh -- Comfort, anyone?)

SOLO (Joshua) -- Really good. When he dances, he looks taller than he really is (I mean that in a good way.)

JAZZ (Katie Holmes & Mark) -- Really good!!!! But...how is that jazz? It looked completely contemporary to me. What's the difference?

PASO DOBLE (Katee & Joshua) -- Really good, but I didn't love it like I've loved other Paso Dobles...(like last season when the blonde gymnast guy lifted Sabra up over his head, then dropped her down to the floor around him! That was crazy!) This one was just good. (Based on the judges responses, guess I missed something...)

SOLO (Katie Holmes) -- She's really good. Like I said before though, for some reason, I just don't die for her.

SOLO (Mark) -- Just o.k. to me. Too bad b/c I really like him.

HIP HOP (Chelsie & Twitch) -- Awesome! They were both really good -- the music sounded like something I know, but can't place it. I actually rewound it to see what it was... It said, 'Control' by The Vitamin String Quartet!? DOOP! I'm clueless... I didn't get that it was Janet's 'Control' until I rewound! I'm slow.

Holy crap. I don't know who to vote for. I like everybody (and I will be seeing them on tour b/c I will be buying a ticket this weekend! BTW, I normally buy two, in hopes someone will go with...hint, hint.)

Their is no way Will should have gone home last night he is one of the best or even the best dancer of the show. I am very upset that he has left the show, IT WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!

that sucked! I cannot believe Mark is still there and Will isn't. I guess like any other competition show, someone has to go home "too early." It just wasn't his time.

Word.

Ok..tonight was AMAZING again....it just keeps getting better. And Will..OMG...what a performance. I wanted it to last a lot longer. I hated that it was only like 30 seconds. Ok...the choreographers are just stepping up this year. Man they are bringing it. Even the disco had some amazing tricks. And Mia's routine...loved it. Broadway...loved it. Ghost HipHop...loved it. Really most of them were just awesome. Also, loved the solos this week...all of them. Getting harder to pick. I don't think I will be able to pick after this week for sure.

Uh oh. I'm in VA, so no DVR. I'll have to take notes quickly.

WHY? At precisely 8:01, the TV's video got stuck, so during dancer intros, all I saw was "Created by Nigel Lithgoe" while Cat was talking in the background. Ugh.

YAY! It's back @ 8:03!!!! (that was a long 2 minutes.)

So, to the dancing:

SAMBA (Will & Katie Holmes): Um, if they were worried about his hips, they shouldn't be! Katie Holmes was good, too, I just don't love her.

SOLO (Comfort): Junk. She's better @ anything but her own style. She gave the dreaded, "I'm blessed" statement. Hate that (almost as much as the stupid arm movement she does.)

CONTEMPORARY (Twitch & Katee): BAD ASS!!!!!! And that kiss!? WAY unexpected!

SOLO (Will): Didn't know 'til just now that he's the Debbie Allen protoge. Despite that, I still like him. Although, I didn't love his solo. It was more like an impersonation than a dance.

HIP HOP (Mark & Comfort): Again w/the arm movement? Somebody needs to tell her to stop... The beginning was so n'SYNC from the MTV VMAs years ago. Doesn't matter, though, b/c the whole thing was AWESOME!!!! Comfort is so much better
w/somebody else's choreography. (NIGEL JUST REPEATED WHAT I WROTE!!!!!!!) Oh, forgot to say that I love that song (Nelly & Fergie).

SOLO (Katee): Good. That's about it.

ARGENTINIAN TANGO (Joshua & Chelsie): At first, I didn't think that Joshua was doing well but then...he got much, much better. She was good throughout.

SOLO (Chelsie): Like I said before, ballroomers who dance solo always look the same. Not really their faults, just predictable.

BROADWAY (Twitch & Katee): LOVED IT! I'm having trouble picking who's doing best...I love everybody! (I think these two will be in the finale, though!)

Im wishing a few dances would get thrown out of the show for good. First the fox trot. I dont think anyone has done good with it and its just not a fun appealing dance. Secondly, do not do the two step again... woo that was bad.. i felt like I was hanging out at Michaels country club with too many whiskey shots. Bring back some more Bollywood!!!!! I loved that~

I can not, i can not believe that Comfort os still in . I think that Kherington is a much better dance But when I came to the DANCE FOR YOUR LIFE she kinda gave up and Comfort danced her but off. I think this is the first year that they still have (3) Hip Hop dancers this late in the game,

I guess I better start setting my VCR b/c I unexpectedly missed the performance show and didn't get home in time to vote or see the results show. But I'm still a contender! I would have never guessed Kherrington would go.
